Bill Mensch

William David man, Jr. ( born February 9, 1945 in Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania) is an American computer engineer and founder, Managing Director and CEO of Western Design Center (WDC ) in Mesa, Arizona. Prior to founding the company in 1978, he worked as a manager in various positions at the company Philco - Ford, Motorola and MOS Technology.

Man was instrumental in the development of microprocessors Motorola 6800 and MOS Technology 6502 and has later with his company Western Design Center extends the architecture of these processors. The company produces the amateur computer " computer person ", based on the Western Design Center 65816 microprocessor.
