Bill Steer

Bill Steer (born 3 December 1969) is a British guitarist who was best known for his work for Carcass and Napalm Death. From the magazine Guitar World, he was elected in 2004 at number 92 of the "greatest heavy metal guitarists of all time ". After the first resolution of Bill Steer Carcass founded together with musicians from Cathedral and Spiritual Beggars the rock band Firebird, which was stylistically was based on blues rock and bands like Led Zeppelin. Until its dissolution in 2011, the band released six studio albums on Rise Above Records. Since 2007 Steer is active again with Carcass. He is now second guitarist at Angel Witch.
