Binder EB28

The EB28 is a two-seater high performance sailplane in the open class with 28 m span. The manufacturer is the engine Binder GmbH in Ostheim vor der Rhön. A retractable engine allows the self-launch.

The EB28 is a further development of ASH25 EB28. While in the ASH25 EB28 some components of the original ASH25 were still used, the EB28 is a complete self-construction. Still leaves its similarity to the ASH 25 no doubt about their origin arise.

In 2009, the revised version EB28 Edition was released with improved outer wings and winglets. On the wings of this version is also based single-seat sister model EB29

With a glide ratio of about 60, the EB28 is one of the most powerful two-seater gliders.
