Binder EB29
The EB29 is a self-launching high performance sailplane manufacturer's engine Binder GmbH for the Open Class.
History
The EB29 is originally designed as a single-seater and used the wing of the two-seater EB28 Edition. The first flight took place on 10 September 2009. EASA type certification was granted on February 1, 2012. Currently, a two-seater with electric drive variant EB29D is in development.
Construction
The drive for self-launch is a stand-alone motor 2625/2.
Use
In the World Gliding Championship 2010 pilot Michael Sommer won the open class with the EB29. 2011, Markus Frank with the EB29 European champion and German champion Michael Sommer.
