Biomechanical is a English Founded in 1999, thrash and progressive metal band from London.
History
The band was founded in April 1999 by John K. ( Balance of Power ). Initially, wrote, arranged and gathered all his songs himself on, except for the songs existence and survival, what Chris Webb and Jamie Hunt mitsch rubbed addition. Hunt programmed and arranged the drums here, with the possibility drummer Matt C. involved. Involved for the debut album Eight Moons for the writing of the songs also Adam Rose. During the recording sessions for this Steve Forward came first at the electric guitar used, before he left the band and he was replaced by Chris Webb. Along with Webb and John K., published guitarist Jamie Hunt, bassist Jon Collins and drummer Matt C. a first EP. The EP contained original recordings with guitarist Steve Forward and the song Distorted, where Chris Webb was heard. Following the publication of the Bant with producer Steve Brown went into the studio to record the debut album Eight Moons. The album was recorded by John K and mixed and mastered by mastering at Sony in the Whitfield Street Studios by Ray Staff. After the band had reached a deal with Revolver Records, the debut album was released on this label. Through the label, the band reached the attention of Elitist Records, a subsidiary label of Earache Records, so the band reached a contract with that label on 3 September 2004. Bassist Jon Collins involved in the writing process of the songs for the second album The Empires of the Worlds. Was mixed by Andy Sneap the album. Empires of the Worlds was released in June 2005. This was followed by a European tour with Decapitated, Stampin Ground, Exodus and 3 Inches of Blood. She also played as the opening act for Shadows Fall and Nevermore. In the years 2006 and 2007, John K. to write the next album Cannibalised. The album was produced by Chris Tsangarides, which was lower previously worked for Judas Priest. The album was mixed in the summer of 2007. Mastered it was in the Close to the Edge Studios by Jon Ashley. The album was released in February 2008. Afterwards, the band played at festivals throughout Europe, the group alongside John K. Gus Drax now consisted of guitarist, bassist Adrian Lambert and drummer Jonno Lodge.

The band plays a mix of thrash and progressive metal, the songs are usually played fast. Comparable are the songs of works by bands like Emperor, Strapping Young Lad and Meshuggah.
