Biskra (Arabic بسكرة, Biskira DMG ) is an oasis town in the eponymous province in eastern Algeria, at the foot of the Aures mountain country, which has about 207,000 inhabitants. She was an important node in the development of the Algerian Sahara and is an important Dattellieferant.
