BitTornado
BitTornado (formerly Shad0w 's Experimental Client) is a by John Hoffman ( " Shad0w " ) programmed in Python free BitTorrent client. With TorrentFlux and TorrentVolve exist web frontends that make operation possible even on remote Web servers.
The Super Seeding (also known as initial seeding ) and the Webseeding were originally introduced in BitTornado.
History
BitTornado is based on the original client by Bram Cohen. Based on this, he added new functions added: bandwidth throttling, prioritization of individual files in multiple files within a torrent, automatic opening ( and closing ) of ( router ) ports (NAT traversal ) using Universal Plug and Play, provided support for IPv6 ( the operating system supports this).
The BitTorrent client BitTornado ABC is a descendant on which to build a few more clients that are still actively developed ( Tribler, Torrent Swapper ).
