Bizerba

The Bizerba GmbH & Co. KG is a major German manufacturer of scales with headquarters in Balingen in Baden-Württemberg. The company, among other funds, Price Marking and labeling systems manufactures. Bizerba is one of the largest employers in Balingen. In addition to the plant in Balingen Bizerba has production facilities in Meßkirch, Bochum, Shanghai and other international locations.

History

The Bizerba GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1866 by the master mechanic Andreas Bizer and closed the already existing scale building workshop brothers Bizer, which had been built years earlier scales. The name Bizerba was then calculated from the name Bizer and Balingen.

Germany Balingen

The production plant in Balingen employs over 1000 people, producing, among other things:
