Bjarne Reuter

Bjarne Reuter ( born April 29, 1950 in Copenhagen / Brønshøj, Denmark ) is a Danish writer. He was honored with almost all Danish literary awards and numerous international awards. Some of the books written has been filmed.

In Germany, it was initially known for his children's books with which he stands in the tradition of Scandinavian children's book authors.

Only with his novels The Zimthaus and The Himmelsstürmer find his novels for adults a large readership.
