Blåbärssoppa

The Swedish blueberry soup (Swedish Blåbärssoppa ) is a popular fruit soup from Sweden, which is served as a dessert warm or cold. This dish contains the eponymous ingredient blueberries ( bilberries) water, sugar and cinnamon often. Occasionally other ingredients such as red wine or potato starch are added that have an impact on consistency and taste. For the preparation of the ingredients are mixed and heated together in a pot. At the end of the blueberries are partially or completely crushed.

In Sweden there is the blueberry soup to buy as a ready meal. It is eaten like with Filmjölk and granola or drunk pure or spooned.
