Reproduction

The Alariogirlitz is a free breeder. The female lays three to five eggs in a lined with grasses, plant fibers, animal hair and moss nest. Incubation period is about 13 days.

The Alariogirlitz feels most comfortable in an indoor aviary. In caging this type tends to obesity. He is regarded as a peaceful bird that can be kept together with other dogs and other small birds.
