Black Supremacy

The English term Black Supremacy (German, black supremacy ') summarizes racist ideologies that propagate an alleged superiority of black people compared to non-black people.

USA

Ideologies of black superiority are particularly common in the United States since the 1960s. Religious-minded groups such as the Nation of Islam called for a state of their own in addition to a racial segregation. The distribution of this black nationalism shows that many blacks did not see as part of the American nation. Although they had fought in many wars for the United States and were officially full citizens, they could not identify with this country. Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali were advocates of a Black- Supremacy ideology during their membership in the Nation of Islam.

Besides the aforementioned Nation of Islam more organizations are currently active, which propagate an ideology of black superiority, such as the New Black Panther Party, Nation of Yahweh and more.
