The Green Warbler ( Dendroica virens) is a small bird of the family Warbler ( Parulidae ).

The top plumage, the crown and yellow markings in the face are olive green. On the black to gray-black elytra he has white wing bars. The underside plumage is bright yellow with black stripes on the flanks. In the males the throat and breast feathers are black, in the female are black spots on the chest. The small beaks are thin and pointed.

Green Warbler feed mostly on insects. In winter, they expand their diet to berries and fruits.
