Blackhawk (Band)

Blackhawk is an American country band which was founded in 1992 in Nashville by Henry Paul ( ex- Outlaws ), Van Stephenson and Dave Robbins. All three had previously worked with many stars of the country music scene. Stephenson had previously also successful solo albums (Modern Day Delilah ).

End of 1993, the first single Goodbye Says It All, which was advancing to number 11 on the country charts appeared. In 1994 the album BlackHawk, reached the double platinum status and from the several successful singles were released. Most of the songs were written by the group members themselves.

A year later, the album Strong Enough was released, which was also certified platinum. 2001 Van Stephenson died of skin cancer and was replaced by Antony Crawford.
