Blaqk Audio

Blaqk Audio is a music project started in 2006 futurepop of Davey Havok and Jade Puget, who have become known as members of the band A Fire Inside (AFI ). The debut album CexCells sold in the U.S. alone in the first week, about 29,000 times.

Style

Unlike AFI, whose style is described as alternative rock, Blaqk Audio is oriented very to the music of the 1980s, ie electronic pop music. Davey Havok takes over the vocals, although not always immediately recognize him because of the many electronic alienation as such, and writes the lyrics that are still very attached to those oriented from the AFI. Jade Puget writes the music, now and then you can hear it as a second voice or vote against Davey, but he never even sings larger parts.
