Blayney Hamilton

Blayney Balfour Hamilton ( born June 13, 1872 in Mellifont in County Louth; † 16 December 1946 in Dublin) was an Irish badminton, tennis, hockey and cricket players. He was the youngest of nine children. Willoughby Hamilton was his brother. His sons Blayney, Willoughby and Arthur and daughter Mavis were also successful badminton player.

Career

Blayney Hamilton could boast in his career a great success in cricket, badminton and tennis. In cricket, he represented Ireland in the national team. In badminton, he won nine times in the Irish Open.
