Blind Justice (TV series)

Blind Justice - Investigators with sharpened senses is an American crime drama based on the U.S. television network ABC started off in 2005, but was canceled after only 13 episodes due to disappointing ratings. In Germany, the series was broadcast on 8 March to 28 April 2008 kabel eins.

Action

After he was shot on duty, the New York Detective Jim Dunbar is blind. Nevertheless, he takes his service again and also proves to be without sight as an excellent investigator, whose other senses, such as hearing and smell, are sharpened as his colleagues. As the first blind detective story, he needs to prevail against the doubts of his colleagues and his wife often.

Background

With the series New York Cops - NYPD Blue Steven Bochco had in the early 1990s a hit geschafften, which was seen over twelve years in U.S. TV. Investigators set high expectations with sharpened senses, but could not be fulfilled - Accordingly, were also in its new series creation Blind Justice. The viewing figures fell far short of expectations, and so the series was discontinued after only one season ( 13 episodes).
