Blind Myself is a Hungarian metal band that was founded in 1995.

History

Blind Myself is founded in 1995 and since then can post great success in the metal scene, especially in Hungary. As early as 1996 appears the first demo tape Yourself Blind, followed a year later by the Second, Horrified By The Sun, which is also published in 1998 as EP at Crossroads Records Hungary and the band to Warner Music Hungary / 1G Records helps. Your video Kaine is just as important as the previous video to Horrified By The Sun. The initial successes pay with appearances on the Sziget Festival in Budapest and a tour of Hungary. 1999 will be released by Warner Music Hungary 's first studio album Have not. Blind Myself play then as the first Hungarian metal band ever in the U.S., including with Ignite. In 2000, the band decided to settle for some time in New York. As they work in the city and play ( with bands like JJ Paradise Players Club, Puddle of Mudd, Keelhole, Kill Your Idols, Ignite ), they live in Brooklyn. The second studio album, Product of Our Imagination is received in Hungary and brought out through 1G Records in 2000. In addition to other club shows in New York Blind Myself play the opening act for Slayer, Sepultura ( Wanted Festival) and Kreator ( Sziget Festival), before deciding in 2003 to go back to Hungary. Worst - Case Scenario, the third album, which gets rave reviews, 2004 appears at Hammer / Edge Records and allows the band this time appearances on major festival stages (eg before Children Of Bodom ) and a tour of South America and Europe.

Blind Myself received the Hungarian Metal Award as the best live band in 2005.

In the 2006 Sziget Festival, the band splits again a stage with a metal -Size: Sick Of It All.

After the fourth album Ancient Scream Therapy is published on 4 December in Hungary Hammer Records, the German label " gravure Music " on Blind Myself is attentive. Here appears the end of March 2007, the album also for the German market. Metal Hammer Hungary selects Ancient Scream Therapy at # 1 on the album charts, the video " Go Get A Life! " appears and toured Eastern and Western Europe are a complete success.
