Super Grips was a quick guessing game, which was produced from 1988 to 1995 by the Bavarian Radio and Bavarian television and broadcast in other third programs ( Claim: The fast-paced game for bright minds ). In the game each were two different Bavarian cities with their students against each other. It was necessary by answering questions of the form " What is K? ... ". Fields to conquer in your color in order to connect two opposite shore of the same color. It usually was followed by a quick round of rate with it verkürzendem time limit. A unique characteristic of the program was that always played a student of a school against two students of the other school. After several rounds won, there were increasingly more valuable prizes to choose from or the so-called piñata, behind which hid prices from scooter to a Citroën 2CV.

The moderator was initially broadcast by Frank Laufenberg and later by Ingo Dubinski. Directed by Hans- Klaus Petsch; whose specialty was the short film inserts to the prices in which he was very self-deprecating often to see for yourself. The award presentation took over later, the radio presenter Bettina Stummeyer.

The artwork was designed by an Amiga home computer and projected onto a screen for all to see.

A similar show, there were also on Swiss Television SF2. She ran as the blockbuster from 1997 to 1999 and was moderated by Sven Epiney. Blockbusters way, is also the name of the original version, which ran from 1980-82 and 1987 in American television.
