Blossomland Bridge

The Blossom Land Bridge (also known as Bridge No. Michigan. B01 of 11053 ) is a historic bascule bridge in St. Joseph, Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan, in the United States. Built around 1949 bridge spans the St. Joseph River just before it flows into Lake Michigan.

The restored in 1989 bridge has a maximum span of 50 meters, a total length of 217 meters and a width of 13.4 meters. Besides the foundation is made of steel the bridge largely made ​​of concrete. Per day 11,200 vehicles pass the bascule bridge (as of 2007).
