Blotted Science

Blotted Science is a multinational supergroup with a focus on Technical Death Metal, which was founded by guitarist Ron Jarzombek into being in 2004. The band has never once performed live in their lifetime.

History

Looking for suitable musicians for his project, pushed the living in Austin Watchtower guitarist Ron Jarzombek on bassist Alex Webster of the band Cannibal Corpse, after he had seen a video of the studio recordings of the band for the song Frantic Disembowelment. In February 2006 Derek Roddy was introduced as the successor Adler's, with the band for six months worked.

After the separation of Roddy in August 2006, due to the fact that this change was written by Jarzombek and Webster drum parts too much to Jarzombek went looking for a new drummer and found it in Charlie Zeleny, which Jarzombek previously on a had seen concert with his band Behold ... The Arctopus. Together they recorded the missing drum tracks for the planned studio album, which should be published in early 2007. Mid-September, later than first assumed with The Machinations of Dementia, the debut album by the band on Jarzombek 's own music label EclecticElectric published. Afterwards, the band members devoted again other projects.

Late September 2010, Ron Jarzombek was back and announced that the band is currently working on a new publication. In the summer of 2008 would have Webster and he made ​​the decision at a joint meeting to release a new CD. However, one would have chosen due to lack of time for the publication of Extended Plays. Furthermore, it was the coming out of Germany Hannes Grossmann, drummer for the band Obscura, introduced as new band member. On 4 October 2011 the band released also on Jarzombek 's own label EclecticElectric their debut EP, The Animation of Entomology. In May 2013, the band released their debut album, The Machinations of Dementia and the EP The Animation of Entomology re-released as a record on antithetic Records, which were each limited to a few hundred.

Style

When composing songs Ron Jarzombek uses a simplified version of the twelve-tone technique, which originated around 1920 by the composer Arnold Schoenberg around. Jarzombek here a method used by the Dutch composer Peter Schat, which the circle of fifths introduced himself as a kind of clock in which each note is a full hour.
