The Blue River ( English for " Blue River " ) is an approximately 121 km long left tributary of the Colorado River in the U.S. state of Colorado.

It rises in southern Summit County on the west side of the Continental Divide near the Quandary Peak. The Blue River then flows north past the same place and at Blue River Breckenridge and by the Dillon Reservoir in Dillon. The confluence with the Colorado River located near the town of Kremmling.
