Blue Swede
Blue Swede was a Swedish pop band of the 1970s.
It was founded in 1972 by Björn Skifs, a well-known musician in Sweden. The band recorded the song Hooked On A Feeling, with which were previously two other performers successfully: BJ Thomas in 1968, and Jonathan King 3 years later. The song was a hit for the third time and in the U.S. reached number 1 in the German singles charts the title reached number 22 in the same year the group in the United States succeeded with Never My Love ( originally performed by The Association ) an even sequel to which was in the charts at No. 7.
After 1975, the musicians moved back to Sweden and published under the name " Björn Skifs & The Blablus " more records.
