Bluesology was a British blues band of the 1960s, participated in the Reginald Kenneth Dwight (now known as Elton John ).

In the wake of the British blues revival Bluesology mid-1960 in Middlesex was founded as a quartet. The original band members were Reg Dwight (keyboards), Stuart Brown ( guitar), Rex Bishop ( bass) and Mick Inkpen (drums). They usually accompanied American stars who were in the UK and Europe on tour, about Doris Troy, Major Lance and the Blue Belles with Patti LaBelle.

1966 was Long John Baldry with Bluesology on tour. At this time included not only the founding members also Mark Charig (trumpet ), Elton Dean ( saxophone), Neil Hubbard (guitar) and Caleb Quaye the band. As Baldry turned away from the blues to take pop ballads, Bluesology also went his own way again.
