Blumio

Blumio (born 16 February 1985 in Hilden, civil Fumio Kuniyoshi, Japanese国 吉 史 生, Kuniyoshi Fumio ) is a German rapper of Japanese descent.

Biography

Blumio was born in 1985 in Hilden and grew up in Dusseldorf, where the largest Japanese community in Germany is.

Inspired by U.S. rapper Ice-T, Blumio began at age 14 to write their own rap lyrics. Instead of studying for school, he preferred to deal with hip- hop. This meant that he remained sitting three times and had to quit his high-school career. He slept with the pseudonym Blumio after a friend had meant the noise that he looked like a flower. In 2002, he applied with a cassette with an MC competition. After an Internet voting Blumio won the competition and could thus prevail against numerous competitors, including against the Berlin rapper Taichi. The music producer Don Tone was then noticed him and invited him to his studio in Dusseldorf, where Blumio with numerous well known rappers, including Eko Fresh and rappers from Aggro Berlin, came into contact.

His breakthrough came in 2005 with the song My favorite rapper, in which he imitated various German rappers. Only Sido, who took a part in the song, was not imitated by Blumio. In 2007 he participated in the L- Records label sampler L- boom and the album psychological terror of the rapper Flaze that were released together as a double album.

In December 2008, published in cooperation with Blumio BTM Squad Member Habesha Album Rush Hour. The recorded music was the first release on Blumios Label Japsensoul.
