Bo Carter

Bo Carter ( born March 21, 1893 in Bolton, Mississippi, † September 21, 1964 ), actually Armenter Chatmon, was an American blues guitarist.

Carter was a member of the Mississippi Sheiks, although occasionally, the music group of the Chatmon family, but was also successful solo. Between 1928 and 1940 he took over 100 pieces on under his own name.

The most known songs by Bo Carter are his Hokum recordings, including Banana in Your Fruit Basket, Pin Cushions in Your, Your Biscuits Are Too Big and Please Warm My Wiener. In addition, mainstream blues belonged to his repertoire.
