Bo Gustafsson

Bo Henning Gustafsson ( born September 29, 1954 in Strömstad ) is a former Swedish touring.

The European Athletics Championships 1978 in Prague was Bo Gustafsson tenth in the 20 km walk. At the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 he reached the target can not more than 20 kilometers ( disqualification) still in the 50 km walk ( task). His first medal won Gustafsson at the European Championships in 1982, when he was third over 50km in the heat of Athens. Only eleven walkers started 24 crossed the finish line, eleven gave up, and two were disqualified.

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles Gustafsson won over 50 km of silver behind the Mexicans Raúl González. While he did not reached the finish line at three World Championships, he could each occupy 7th place at the European Championships 1986 in Stuttgart and at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.
