Bo Weavil Jackson

Bo Weavil Jackson was an African-American blues singer and guitarist. He lived in the first half of the 20th century, the dates and places of his birth and his death are unknown. His real name was probably James Jackson.

Jackson was included as one of the first country blues singer in 1926 for the record label, Paramount and Vocalion. Vocalion marketed it under the name Sam Butler. Its 78 - rpm records are sought after by collectors, be preserved on recordings repertoire that contains blues and gospel songs, has been re-released on a variety of LP and CD compilations.
