Bob Reiss

Life

Reiss studied journalism at Northwestern University and graduated with a bachelor's degree from. He then moved to the University of Oregon and earned the title there MA. During his studies, Reiss was able to publish the first article as a freelancer. After successfully completing his studies, he began to write for various newspapers and magazines; inter alia, Chicago Tribune, WP Glamour Magazine, Rolling Stone, Gentlemen's Quarterly and parade.

Parallel to this was in addition to the day job, in time, a literary oeuvre of detective novels. Here Reiss used various forms of his name. His cycle of the New York police " Conrad Voort " ( NYPD ), he published under the pseudonym Ethan Black; in German language published them under the name Scott Canterbury. His literary debut was in 1980 Reiss successfully contest with his novel "Summer Fires ".

Currently (2011) he lives with the television producer Wendy Roth in New York.
