Tourism

The bay of Boca Chica is very popular with domestic and foreign guests as a bay -shore reef shields the bay and the water is therefore very quiet. The reef forms the shape of a semicircle and protrudes from the water surface. Up to the reef the water is barely deeper than 1.50 meters. Between the beach and reef are two small islands, the Isla de Pinos and the Isla Matica. Behind the island is the harbor, which was expanded.
