Railway Bochum- Gelsenkirchen

The railway line Bochum- Gelsenkirchen referred to a people train Gluckauf train from Bochum Main Station to Gelsenkirchen Hbf ( regional train RB46 ) and secondly the freight train connections from Bochum Gbf at the former Bochum Sud train station and Bochum President to Gelsenkirchen - Schalke North. The railway line was built in 1867-1876 in sections of the Bergisch- Märkischen railroad. The connecting curve at Bochum Hbf was taken in 1979 in operation.

Passenger

Until 1978, passenger trains of the DB wrong Bochum - Langendreer about Bochum -Nord, Bochum- Riemke to Wanne -Eickel. The section ( pan - Eickelmann ) Gelsenkirchen Zoo ( Dorsten ) is used in the passenger of the regional train 43.
