The Bockkarkopf than 2609 m high mountain part of the main ridge of the Allgäu Alps. In the Allgäu Alps, he is the ninth highest peak and is located between the Wild Man in the southwest and the Hochfrottspitze in the Northeast. About the pyramidal summit leads to the well-worn path Heilbronner.

Over the ridge runs the border of Bavaria to Tyrol.

Ascent

The Bockkarkopf is usually mounted only in the commission of the Heilbronn path. As a single-target he is though also as a round trip from Walt Berger- house via the rear Bockkar and to commit the Socktalscharte.
