Bode (crater)

Bode is a relatively small impact craters on the lunar front side between Sinuis Aestuum and sinus Medii, northwest of Pallas. The crater is bowl-shaped with a flat bottom. To the east, a system of lunar grooves Rimae Bode.
The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by Johann Elert Bode the German astronomer.
