Bodo Sperling

Bodo Sperling ( born May 6, 1952 in Hanau ) is a German painter and conceptual artist.

Life

Bodo Sperling graduated from the entrance examination at the State Academy of Fine Arts - Städel School in Frankfurt, but decided for an art history studies at the University of Tübingen.

From 1980 came the first images of crystals and crystal panels. Since 1985 he is a computer as a design tool. Two of his computer paintings are of Contemporary Art in Karlsruhe at the Museum.

In November 1989, Sperling served as CEO of the Association of Visual Artists in the course of negotiations for the merger of the two German artists' associations VBK and BBK in Berlin co-founder of the East Side Gallery.
