Boggle

Boggle is a thinking game with letters and words by Alan Turoff. It was published in 1972 in the United States at Parker Brothers, but with little success. After an advertising rich republishing 1976 1977 sold millions of copies. 1978 was also published in Germany by Parker, a new edition appeared in 2004.

The approximately 5 minute long game can be played with any number of players from about 8 years. 1997 Hasbro released the game under the same name also for the PC. 2010 appeared the electronic revised version of the game as Boggle Flash, followed by the Langenscheidt edition that explicitly matches the specified words with official dictionaries and Boggle alphabet soup as a version of the game for the little ones.

Variants

Parker Brothers brought out some less successful variants of the original game, including:
