Bogotá FC was established in 2003 is a Colombian football club based in Bogotá, which plays in the Categoría Primera B since 2004.

History

A previous club was the club El Cóndor. The greatest success of the club has been the repeated reaching the group stage and the fourth place in the overall table 2008. However He still could not qualify for the finals themselves. Due to lack of support in Bogotá in 2012 was considered to move to Monteria. The negotiations failed, however, and the club remained in Bogotá. After a weak 2012, to Bogotá FC could in first round tournament in 2013 to qualify as a third party for the group stage, closed group B but the last one off. In Torneo Finalización 2013 to qualify for the group stage was not successful.

Stadium

Bogotá FC is currently completing its home games at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in the south of Bogotá. The stadium has a capacity of about 7,800 seats. Previously, the club played at the Estadio Alfonso López Pumarejo, home to the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
