Bogurodzica

The Bogurodzica is the oldest religious song and the oldest poetic text in Poland. The song of " Theotokos " Maria was probably written in the 13th century by an unknown composer. Was passed for the first time in writing the work in 1407, 1408 and 1409. Bogurodzica The coronation was the anthem of the Polish king Władysław I and the fight song of the Poles in the battles of Tannenberg 1410 and Varna 1444th

The first stanza is the Mother of God, the second addressed to Christ.
