Boké Region
Boké is a region of Guinea. It lies in the northwest of the country, bordering Senegal and Guinea- Bissau. Its capital is the same Boké. The region has about 703,000 inhabitants and consists of the prefectures Boffa Boké, Fria, Gaoual and Koundara. These are each named after their capital.
The west of the region Boké with Boffa, Fria Boké and is attributable to the geographical region of Lower Guinea and the northeastern prefectures Gaoual and Koundara Fouta Djallon in lie.
