Outbreaks

  • In the summer of 2004 Bokito climbed over a three -meter-high wall of his enclosure in Berlin, but could be brought back without any problems.
  • On 18 May 2007, he overcame the four -meter-wide ditch his Rotterdam enclosure and attacked a 57 -year-old Zoobesucherin which he taught several bites and fractures. Then ran Bokito in a restaurant where he caused great panic before he could be stunned with a gun. The reason for the systematic attack on the woman suspected their emotional relationship with colored Bokito.
