History

Bandy is not the only sport in the club, but in none of the other equivalent success has been achieved. The team play their first match in 1906 and some more in the following years. The regular game only began operating in the 1920s, after which followed in 1992, the first victory in the Regional Championship. Then Bollnäs GoIF won ten regional championships in a row.

On March 1, 1931, the team completed a qualifying match against a club from Kronoberg for inclusion in the highest Bandyliga (then Division I), which was won 2-0. A national supremacy had the club in the 1950s, which was underlined with the Cup victories in 1951 and 1956.

Another highlight was winning the World Cup Ljusdal 2005.
