BOMAG

The BOMAG ( Bopparder engineering company ) is the world market leader in the field of Compaction Technology and produces machines for soil, asphalt and refuse as well as stabilizers / recyclers. History

The BOMAG was founded in 1957 in Boppard double garage by Karlheinz Schwamborn and developed in the same year with a double drum vibratory roller, referred to as BW 60 Allbandagenantrieb with a new design for the compression technique.

In 1962, BW 200 was the first 7t double drum vibratory roller in the world presented. In 1961 the first international branch was opened BOMAG in Austria, followed by 2002 offices in China, the U.S., France, Italy, Great Britain, Canada, Japan and Hungary.
