Bomfunk MC's are a Finnish electro - hip- hop band.

Career

The Bomfunk MC's were of Ismo Lappalainen aka DJ Gismo and Raymond Ebanks aka BOW (Brother of Words ) was founded. Ebanks lives in Finland's capital Helsinki since childhood. DJ Gismo comes from Turku.

The duo released the 1999 album "In Stereo", which with 90,000 units sold reached platinum status in Finland. From the album the singles Up Rocking Beats, freestylers and B- Boys & Flygirls published. The single freestylers was in 2000 in several European countries successfully. She was also in the same year on the soundtracks to the films Haggard and Kuka lohduttaisi Viiviä? included.

In October 2002 the second album " Burnin ' Sneakers ", which, however, no longer able to build on the old success appeared. Only in Finland, the album was represented in the charts and was able to reach number one there. Four singles were released from the album.

Two years later the album " Reverse Psychology ", which once again was able to place only in the Finnish charts and reached there the Zehntenplatz appeared.
