Bonaventure Regional County Municipality

Bonaventure is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the administrative region of Gaspésie- Îles- de -la -Madeleine and consists of 14 subordinate administrative units ( three cities, seven churches, two cantonal municipalities, a parish and an unincorporated community ). The MRC was founded on April 8, 1981. The main settlement is New Carlisle. The population is 17,643 and the area of ​​4382.4 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 4.0 inhabitants per km ².
