Bonifacia Rodríguez y Castro

Bonifacia Rodriguez Castro ( born June 6 1837 in Salamanca, Spain, † August 8, 1905 in Zamora, Spain) was a Spanish Catholic nun and foundress. She is worshiped in the Catholic Church as a saint.

She founded the Congregation of the Servants of St. Joseph, which campaigns for social and Christian promotion of workers.

In the consistory of 21 February 2011 the Sacred College confirmed the conclusion of the canonization process for Bonifacia Rodriguez de Castro. On 23 October 2011, she was beatified by Benedict XVI. canonized.
