Bonny Iceland is an important for oil production Nigerian island in the Gulf of Guinea. The largest city is Bonny in the west of the island with about 17,700 inhabitants.

Bonny Iceland is located in the south of Rivers State, about 20 km south-east of the capital, Port Harcourt, is on the ferry. In the early 1990s, the Nigerian government launched in cooperation with international oil companies, the oil production project Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas Limited ( NLNG ) in the area of the island. On Bonny Iceland offices are located, among others, Royal Dutch Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Agip and Total.

After the island is the part of the Gulf of Guinea, which is adjacent to Nigeria and Cameroon, also called Bight of Bonny.
