Boozoo Bajou

Boozoo Bajou is a German DJ and producer duo consisting of the Nuremberg musicians Peter Heider and Florian Seyberth. Their music can settle between Downbeat/Lounge-, dub, blues, jazz, soul and funk music. As musical idols King Tubby and Lee Perry can be mentioned.

History

The biggest success Boozoo Bajou celebrated with her debut album Satta, which was published in 2001. Originally speculated the duo with the sale of 2,000 copies - instead, 70,000 sound recordings were sold to date. Many tracks of the first album appear again and again in radio and television, the three-part science documentary expedition was framed into the brain to a large extent by Boozoo Bajou musical titles. In addition, we made ​​use of the song Night Over Manaus, practically the German downbeat classic, the debut album in a martini TV commercial with George Clooney, which was broadcast in 2006.

After this success, met again a remix requests Boozoo Bajou at. So remixes for the rapper Common, Mary J. Blige, Mousse T., Henry Mancini, Nelly Furtado and also for Richard Dorfmeister's Tosca project were created.
