Borchali (Georgian ბორჩალო / Bortschalo, Azerbaijani Borcali ) is a historical region in southeastern Georgia. Until 1947 it was also the name of the city Marneuli. The name comes from the Azerbaijani language.

The landscape Borchali located in the eastern part of the Georgian Administrative Region of Lower Kartli in the field of Rajone Marneuli, Gardabani and Bolnisi. It borders with Azerbaijan and Armenia. Until 1736 it belonged to the Sultanate Borchali.

The city was renamed in 1947 in Borchali Marneuli. The name comes from the Marneuli Georgian language.

Both in the city and in the region are the Azeris, the largest ethnic group, followed by Georgians, Armenians, Greeks and Russians.
