Borjana Krišto

Borjana Krišto ( born August 13, 1961 in Livno, Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian - Herzegovinian politician. From 2007 to 2011 she was president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Life

The Croatian Borjana Krišto attended elementary school and middle school in her hometown of Livno. After leaving school, studied Krišto 1983 in Banja Luka in the field of jurisprudence. Borjana Krišto worked until 1999 in some companies in the legal department. In the field of jurisprudence doctorate Krišto 2001 in Sarajevo. From 1999 to 2000 she worked as Minister of Justice in the Canton 10 2000-2002 took Krišto in Canton 10 the post of Secretary General. From February 22 2007 to March 17, 2011 Borjana Krišto was president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the same time she was the first woman since the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this office operates. Borjana Krišto party is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
