Born, Netherlands

Born ( Limburg: boron) is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Limburg and is now part of municipality Sittard- Geleen. Born in 1981 from the villages of Born, Obbicht - Papenhoven and Grevenbicht was formed. The total population is about 5600 people.

Nationally known is the place because of the local NedCar, the largest car factory in the Netherlands. Another big industrial complex is the DSM. Born is located on Juliana.
