Borsodbóta

Borsodbóta [ borʃodbo tɒ ː ] is a municipality in the north of Hungary Borsod -Abaúj -Zemplén.

Geographical Location

Borsodbóta located in a small valley in northern Hungary, 44 kilometers from county capital Miskolc. Neighboring municipalities are Sajómercse 7 km, 4 km and Sáta Uppony 4 km away. The nearest town Ózd is 8 km from Borsodbóta. In Uppony is a man-made reservoir which serves as a drinking water reservoir.

Economy

In Borsodbóta farming is done. Particularly the wine is to be emphasized. There is also a Dutch campsite in Borsodbóta.
